Creativity looks like an apricot coloured sky at the end of a day.
It smells like coffee beans and salty sea air.
It sounds like the leaves dancing in the wind and the acoustic strum of a guitar.
It tastes like dark chocolate and your favourite herbal tea infusion.
It feels like… uncharted, wild freedom.
When was the last time you felt deeply immersed in your creative element? Unattached to the world around you? Flooded with the happy feels of inspiration?
Whether you consider yourself to be a creative person or not, I’ve got news for you – we all harbour great creative energy within. Your creativity just needs to be nurtured into existence.
If it’s been some time, or if you’re not quite sure if you have tapped into this sacred space before, you’re in the perfect place. It’s time to bring your creative juju to life!
WELCOMe, beautiful, to Awaken Your Creativity, a compilation of rituals for nurturing your creative energy
I’m Alisha Brunton, designer, illustrator, yoga teacher and creative maven here at Love Indigo Creative.
I’ve always been drawn to colours, shapes and designs. Falling in love with the creative process of drawing mandalas was a key step toward my career in illustration and design. It wasn’t until much later that I began to realise how powerful mandalas are as a mindful, creative practice!
I created this offering for you because I believe everyone has the right to feel truly alive and awake in this precious life. I’ve learnt that when we dedicate the time and the space to allow creativity to do her thing, life is joyful, humbling, and infused with purpose.
These rituals are designed to nurture that part of you that longs to be listened to and expressed to the world.
Awaken Your Creativity includes a meditation to ignite your inner creative guru, journal prompts to help you to release and replace any limiting creative beliefs you have been holding onto, as well as resources to guide you through fashioning your very own intention-infused mandala.
It’s an opportunity to devote a few hours to nurturing your creative energy, to immerse yourself in quiet ritual, and to play for the sake of pure joy (because that’s where your creativity resides – in the bliss).
Awaken Your Creativity is designed to be experienced over 2-3 hours, in the format of an at-home retreat. You can do it solo, or in a group (put your creative hat on!)
So, with that said, let’s get real. Is this you?
❂ You’re running a tight ship, caught up in the relentless busy-ness of life, and any trace of your prior creative self has taken a back seat.
❂ You’re so ready to release those old fears and limiting beliefs that have kept you from feeling alive and lit up on the inside.
❂ You don’t consider yourself a ‘creative’ person, YET (Psst… we’re ALL creative beings!)You crave tapping into and unleashing your unique creative expression, not later but stat!
❂ You desperately need to carve out some time to slow down and take care of yourself. Your mind, body and soul plead for it.
❂ You want to nurture your divine feminine energy through ritual and creative play.
❂ You can’t remember the last time you did something for the sake of pure joy, without any expectations of the outcome
“The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.”

WhY I CREATED AWAKEN YOUR CREATIVITY FOR YOU
So many women today are stuck in ‘doing’, often spending all day in their heads and have become disconnected from their bodies and their hearts (ahem… guilty as charged…)
We stick to what we know we’re good at; what we know will yield results. We glorify busy-ness and the perception of efficiency, because that’s what society has told us is the definition of success for so long.
It’s this exact way of thinking – no scratch that – it’s this exact way of living that has stunted our experience of our creative potential.
Creative energy is alive. It runs through our hearts, our veins, our meridians, and it becomes stagnant if we don’t nurture it.
Cultivating creativity requires remembering how to play and that’s something that can feel really unfamiliar or frivolous as adults. In a culture that is so results orientated, we learn to measure achievement by how much we get done, or how quickly we hit our goals. Creativity for the sake of joy, presence and play isn’t something we’re taught to prioritise or to value for that matter.
Creativity is not a gene that you either have or don’t have. It is not a switch that can be turned on or off. Creativity is a muscle – it gets stronger with practice.
The more we nurture our creative energy, the more freely it flows.
So many women I meet are carrying around limiting creative beliefs and they usually sound a little something like this:
“I’m just not creative.”
“I can dance, but I definitely can’t draw or sing.”
“Creativity is a waste of time. I have so many other things to do!”
“I won’t create anything amazing, so why bother?”
Let me tell you something:
We are ALL creative beings. It’s the way we express our soul to the world.
THE POWER OF MANDALAS
Mandalas are both a symbol and a ritual. As a symbol they represent harmony, wholeness and the infinite nature of the universe. As a ritual, they facilitate mindfulness and presence, and are an expression of the inner world of the artist. Mandalas triggers something within us, a sacred geometry in which we recognise our self and our place in the cosmos. There are no rules when it comes to creating a mandala, and anyone can create one! It’s not about the final product, it’s about the journey you take in the process. When you create a mandala, it becomes an expression of your internal landscape in that moment.
“When individuals colour complex geometric forms, they are provided an opportunity to suspend their ‘inner dialogue’ and to deeply engage in an activity that removes them from the flow of negative thoughts and emotions that can sometimes dominate their lives.”
– Nancy Curry and Tim Kasser
“Alisha guided me back to the core of what it means to be human. That is, a creative being. As a one-woman show running an online biz, I often slip out of my feminine power to get sh*t done. Underneath the hustle was the belief that spending time out to purely nurture my creative expression was a ‘waste’ and not giving value to the world.
I’d also held on to some major blocks when it comes to dance, art + creating for the sake of it, rather than the perfection of the end product – that I hadn’t give full attention to until now. I’m working on that and carving out space each week for dance lessons and time to just play with colour like I did as a child. I do believe our creativity is a birth right and Awaken Your Creativity led me to actually embody that through this sacred ritual.. It’s changed my approach to how I do business and how I show up in the world as a woman – oh so capable of birthing value from pure expression and love.”
“Awaken Your Creativity is a delight to take time out for. You know that feeling you get when you’re so deliciously absorbed in something and you lose track of time? Alisha’s offering fosters this, regardless of your experience in art or perceived sense of creativity. By connecting to self through gentle exploration of your unique creative talents, you are lovingly guided by Alisha to drop the self limiting stories and allow yourself to express who you truly are.
The best part of this offering is that it’s yours forever to keep coming back to time and time again to feed your addiction to creating beautiful mandalas. Because trust me, you will become addicted. I’ve repeatedly told myself the story of “I can’t draw” but I now proudly call BS on that tale, as I’m continually amazed at the gloriousness I can create. All thanks to Alisha’s beautiful guidance in letting my creativity shine in a way that feels true to me.”
AWAKEN YOUR CREATIVITY IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO:
❂ Cultivate and nurture your creative energy
❂ Play, without attachment to the outcome
❂ Honour your unique creative expression
❂ Rewrite limiting beliefs that are stopping you from embracing your creative power
❂ Create a mini-retreat in your home, and hit pause on the outside world
❂ Learn how to create mandalas as a practice of mindfulness

Prepping For The Ritual
To prepare for this sacred time and space (which is just for you), this PDF outlines what resources you need to create a ritual that engages your senses and nurtures your creative energy. It also includes an introduction audio on defining success, prioritising play and nurturing your creative energy. This is where we debunk our socially conditioned ideas on success and come back to the truth: the outcome is irrelevant; the process reveals all.
Bonus: Awaken Your Creativity playlist. The perfect audio backdrop for your ritual!
AWAKEN YOUR CREATIVITY MEDITATION
This guided audio meditation is a grounding and centring ritual to awaken your innate creative energy from within. Through breath and stillness, you’ll tune into the energy of your sacral and heart chakras, and allow the outside world to simply fall away…
This meditation can also be used on its own as a daily practice.
REWRITE YOUR CREATIVE BELIEFS
You are a creative being (yes, you!), but to step into your creative potential, you first need to release any limiting beliefs that are holding you back. We delve into where (or who) these beliefs come from and why they’re not serving your highest good (which by the way, is your creative energy). The audio and journal prompts are designed to help you shed the old stories and will empower you to choose new and positive creative beliefs to guide you on your journey forward.
Bonus: Creativity affirmations (for your phone or wall)
Did you know what the simple shapes and intricate designs of a mandala have great meaning and cultural significance throughout history? They date back to the earliest of civilisations and behind each beautiful design is an intention, a feeling, a Sankalpa (a resolve). The PDF and audio share how creating a mandala can be a powerful practice in mindfulness (think moving meditation). Once you’ve set your own sacred intention, I’ll show you how to express it through the colours and shapes of your mandala. The video tutorial will show you how to create a grid, and how to use that as a framework to create your unique design.
TO CLOSE THE SPACE
Your creativity begs your introspection, any opportunity in fact to reflect on where you have been, where you have going and the journey in between. The journal prompts will guide you to consider your experience, and to process any shifts in consciousness and awareness that have taken place. We close with the audio Prayer for Creativity to help you anchor deeply into your intention, and to continue to nurture your creative energy as you re-enter the world.
Listen to this one often, as part of your meditation practice orany time you need to be reminded of your creative power.

The back story
Awaken Your Creativity is inspired by the in-person workshops I’ve hosted throughout Australia and New Zealand over the last year or so. I realised that if I was craving time to slow down, play and nurture my creativity, other women were likely seeking the same!
Despite having a creative job, I’m as guilty as anyone of prioritising output and efficiency over true creativity. I’ll tell myself that answering all my emails is a better use of my time than taking half a day to make art because the outcome is measurable. At the end of the day, I can see that I’ve answered 25 emails and feel a sense of accomplishment.
The end result of creativity isn’t always as certain, but I now know from experience that the rewards are SO much greater than being able to cross something off my to-do list. When I truly take time to immerse myself in a creative task, without expectation, I feel present, inspired, peaceful and in a magical state of flow. And regardless of what I produce, that creative energy is going to spill over into the rest of my life in a beautiful way.
A question for you: How would it feel to detach your success from the end outcome, and simply immerse yourself in the the creative process?
Wild, free, fun?
In Awaken Your Creativity, success is defined by how playful and present you can be throughout the process. No outcome necessary! Your creative expression doesn’t have to be perfect, or change the world – it simply has to be YOURS.
Each time I host a workshop, we close with a sharing circle. Every woman present creates a beautifully unique mandala, despite their resistance and fears. I never get tired of hearing women say, “I didn’t think I could create something like this.”
It is with great pleasure and excitement I invite you to awaken your creativity. The ripple of effect will spill out beyond the borders of your pages and into all corners of your life.
I can’t wait to watch the magic unfold…
To your creative power,
REady to awaken your creativity?
Will I need to purchase additional materials?
The recommended materials for creating your mandala are a compass, protractor, ruler, pencil, paper and colouring materials. These can be purchased for $10-15 at your local office supplies store. That said, you could also freestyle your design – some women have made do with just a pencil and piece of paper!
You may also like to gather a few things to engage the senses and turn this experience into a beautiful ritual. For example: candles, essential oils, oracle cards, raw chocolate, your favourite tea.
Can I do the rituals in a group with other women?
Absolutely! However, I do request that each woman purchases her own access to Awaken Your Creativity. If you do experience this in a group setting, I suggest you close the ritual with a circle. Inviting each woman to share her experience is a powerful experience for everyone present!
How is the content delivered?
You’ll gain access to a private landing page that includes instructions, and a link to download all the content (PDFs, audio tracks and one video) to your computer. Then you simply work through each element in order. I’ve created it this way so that you can be completely offline for this experience!
What sort of time investment is required?
Anywhere between 1.5 – 3 hours. Trust me, you’ll lose yourself in your mandala creation and won’t want to stop!
Do you offer refunds?
No, all purchases are non-refundable.
